As I sit here thoroughly enjoying my gorgeous Canadel dining room set, I wanted to let you know how happy I am with it. When I first started looking for new furniture a few months ago I was very put off with pushy sales people in the tri-state area. That is until I entered your store, Fireside Furniture.
I must share with you how unassuming and helpful your saleswoman, Gloria, was as I looked first at bedroom and then dining room furniture. She gave me ideas and advice without being at all pushy or assertive.
She never tried to “sell” me anything by being obnoxious like so many salespeople. When I walked by the Canadel dining room set I knew immediately I wanted that. Gloria was great in how she answered any questions I had without forcing the sale. She could tell I loved it but let me make that decision. I truly appreciated that and all her help that day.

The two gentlemen that delivered the furniture were also most pleasant. That was a novelty because most delivery people often have a different attitude. Your delivery people really cared about the furniture and made sure it was handled correctly.

On Saturday, June 18, 2016, we had the bedroom set that we purchased from Fireside Furniture delivered. The delivery was the final piece of a fantastic buying experience. We went to Fireside upon a recommendation from a friend. We very soon found the perfect bedroom set. We were helped by Cindy-she told us our options and gave us a quote. Undecided, we left and pondered size, color, wood, etc. We returned a month later, was again helped by Cindy, and finalized the order.
The delivery men were 20 minutes early! They set up the furniture, including putting our mattress on the bed and attaching the mirror to the dresser. They were polite and professional…
Needless to say, I would highly recommend Fireside Furniture to anyone who is interested in getting top quality furniture and excellent service at a fair price.

We would like to thank you for your response to our recent problem with our new sofa. When we purchased the sofa, you assured us that the manufacturer was a very reputable company. Unfortunately, as with many items purchased these days, a major problem developed. The seam at the top edge of the back cushion opened. It appeared that there was insufficient material to be properly sewn into that seam. We brought you some photos of the seam at which point you had you service person visit our home and verify the matter. Within one month, a new duplicate replacement sofa was delivered to our home.
It was a genuine pleasure to find two companies, both the manufacturer and the sales company, that were so responsive to the matter. There were no questions or “hassles” about the problem.

Saturday, we received a delivery of furniture that we had ordered a while ago. We just wanted to let you know how positive our experience was, and to say job well done. This was our second time ordering furniture from your establishment.
Our salesperson, Pete, was most helpful, finding out that the lateral file could be special ordered in dark oak to match the bookcases. As I said, the furniture was delivered Saturday, and was perfect, no scratches, bumps, or defects, which has not been our experience with other stores. It is just what we wanted, and looks great. I appreciate the quality of the merchandise, and the ‘made in the USA’ .

My wife and I just bought this beautiful country style couch from Fireside. We were helped by Raul and he did an excellent job. The fit and finish of the couch is excellent. Much better than our old couch from Pottery Barn. Delivery was on time and professional. Two thumbs wayyyy up!
Okay. I haven't had much luck lately dealing with retailers and their so called Customer Service Departments or Sales people. I wasn't expecting this! I found a table I loved on line and reached out to Fireside Furniture as they were listed as a distributor for the manufacturer. I had reached out to another retailer before that who was more local, but they never called me back. My Good Luck! I sent an email to Fireside inquiring about the table and received an answer right away. I believe the woman was Cindy. Please forgive me if I am mistaken. She said she worked there for quite a few years. She told me she could get the table and if I placed a 50% deposit I would receive it in about 8 weeks, at which time I would pay the balance in full before delivery. It would be delivered to my upstairs apartment and set up. The table came in and it was delivered just as stated. I received a call advising me it was in so that I could complete the payment and I was given a delivery date and a time. No constant phone calls to follow up on where it was or headaches. The delivery/set up person was just as nice as Cindy. I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to do business with Fireside Furniture.All I can say is this was one of the best experiences I've had in quite some time. My table is beautiful and I am very happy with the service and the product. Thank you Fireside. I would highly recommend you to anyone looking to purchase new furniture. I know you will be the first place I reach out the next time I am in the market for new furnishings.

Fireside Furniture was a great find with quality home furnishings at great prices and a knowledgeable and pleasant staff that is eager to work with you. Went in for sofa but purchased unique swivel chair and lamp so far.Found Fireside at end of renovation when already had sofa returned by online vendor due to too small opening. Was tired of “visualizing” a furniture feel online, high end furniture stores that didn’t sell from showroom and quality issues with the big R&F.

Furniture is sturdy, a good price, and I was able to get delivery sooner than anywhere else I had looked! While country is not my style, they did have chairs that matched my kitchen. They are a steal for how much I am paying for such a quality product. Customer service was really great there too. We worked with a gentleman named Raul who listened to what we needed and helped us find the exact thing!
I have nothing but positive things to say about Fireside Furniture. First of all, their store has something for everyone-classic, farmhouse, country cottage-literally anything you could want. I bought a bedroom set recently, and it was delivered within a week. I love it even more now that it’s in my house. The sale was a seamless experience-no hassle, no harassment from employees, and plenty of help when I needed it. The delivery was quick and when I needed help with a drawer after delivery was complete, someone came right away to help fix the problem (and turns out the problem was with my uneven floors not the furniture). You’re going to pay a little more than you would at a big chain store, but you’re getting real, solid wood, not MDF. I highly recommend Fireside Furniture!

We found this store by accident. But so glad we did! The experiece could not have been better. Everything from placing the order for our dining room set until delivery was smooth. It's hard to find this kind of customer service nowadays and once you experience it, it feels wonderful. That's why I am sharing this on line. This is the best furniture store around. 3 generations of my family have bought all household furniture here and for good reason. Don't waste your time at chain stores. Come here. The quality is SPECTACULAR! My husband and I bought a bedroom set here. It's made in the USA with REAL WOOD. So many sets out there are glorified particle board and vaneer. Not here. Plus, they run sales and discounts that are comparable to chain stores. You're going to get a quality product that may cost a bit more, but will last a lifetime. I'd only shop here for furniture going forward.Ask for Richard. He was great to work with! I agree with everything said already about sales people. Very knowledgeable and let you do your own thing in the store. They're hands off, but offer you all the support, guidance, and financing options you need to make your decisions. What a lovely treasure in Northern NJ! I hope it lasts another 3 generations and beyond!
